Detailed description

VSI series vertical shaft impact crushers utilize the "Rock-on-Rock" crushing technology, which features a unique combination of crushing and grinding in a single machine for the processing of virtually any competent, abrasive, friable or sticky material. It also offers the advantages of a horizontal shaft impact crusher, which gives the product a perfectly cubic shape. On the other hand, it mitigates the disadvantages of conventional horizontal shaft impact crushers, such as high wear and tear costs, low capacity etc.

It is a proven producer of top quality aggregate products for asphalt paving, concrete aggregates or specification sand. It has the capacity to crush a wide range of materials and will process hard, highly abrasive rocks as a matter of course. The high velocity impact crushing achieved in VSI improves the robustness and shape of the stone, thus reducing product moisture and easing the screening task while producing superior products at minimal costs.

VSI Performance Characteristics

Rotor:

◆ Heavy duty rotor and tip/cavity wear plate design allow for improved rock bed retention within the rotor. This results in improved protection to tungsten tip plate preventing, premature failure of tip plate.

◆ The proven three-ports rotor design is beneficial for balanced rotor lifespan and material discharge efficiency. The modular structure allows for convenient and quick replacement of worn parts.

Crushing Chamber:

◆ Optimal cavity design no roof liners required this gives the saving both in cost and maintenance downtime that also ensure no ‘build up’ problem in chamber.

◆ Circulating air flow, effectively controlling dust spillover.

◆ Replaceable toe board ring, control plates and throttle gates are manufacturing by hardened material to give an extended trouble free operation.

Centralization Grease Lubrication:

◆ Independent lubrication system ensures clean grease for extended bearing life.

◆ Three greasing nipples and independent flow distribution valves ensure good lubrication effect; dry oil lubrication is more economical and environmentally friendly.

Hydraulic Console:

◆ To operate the rotor throttle gate to control the feed rate to the rotor;

◆ Adjust the drive belt tightness easier and simple.

◆ The "Rock-on-Metal" mode as optional can be selected, to adapt to crushing and shaping demands for different applications.

Oil Lubrication System-option:

◆ Shares same design concept as hydraulic cone’s tank for heavy-duty applications such as sand manufacturing.

◆ Mainly equipped to the larger size VSI

◆ Better protection of bearings, to extend life time and reduce downtime.

Feeding Materials:

◆ Adjustable overflow rate meets different material characteristics and product requirements.

◆ Adjustable rotor feed rate ensures continuous production.

◆ Better control feeding in the center ensures reasonable and stable product particle and gradation.
