Detailed description

The primary gyratory crushers are the initial driving force for the entire mineral processing circuit. Through extensive research over the years in combination with Allis Saga’s expertise more than 10 years in the development of large size cone crushers, Allis Saga has designed and developed the GM series gyratory crushers, which offer high capacity thanks to its generously dimensioned circular discharge opening and the continuous operation principle. Therefore, the gyratory crusher is unmatched in the field of large plants with capacities starting from 1200 t/h and above.
The Main Features of GM Gyratory Crushers are:
● High capacities due to increased speed and efficiency.
● High production and strength thank to the Spider, Topshells and Bottomshell are constructed of shock-resistant, high strength cast steel, allowing the use of more powerful drive motors.
● As well as for better crushing economy provided by the steep crushing chamber and long crushing surfaces.
GM Performance Characteristics
Special design spider bushing made by high grade alloy extends the service life.
Single U-shaped spider liner design better protection the spider and increase feed opening.
Mainshaft heavy-duty design, forged in one piece, no risk of loosing head centers, thereby reducing downtime; alloy steel mainshaft sleeve – no threads to damage on the shaft.
Heavy-duty design counterweight, reducing dynamic load impact by 60% effectively.
● The unique crushing chamber design ensures greater product uniformity, better distribution of wear throughout entire chamber — fewer service problems and lower operating costs alongside improved energy efficiency.
● Super spider, heavy topshell and bottomshell integrated high arch structure that increases the feed opening larger than conventional design more than 30-40%.
● Versatility of changing the Eccentric throw crusher capacity can be matched to plant requirements simply by changing the Eccentric bushing.
● Increasing the speed and horsepower of the drive motor facilitates higher throughput ability of the crusher.
● Safe and reliable supporting design facilitate maintenance and service.
A. Automation spider lubrication is connected to GCIS control system, which ensures a trouble free lubrication between the spider bushing and the mainshaft sleeve.
B. Main shaft position sensor system and GCIS system synergistic effect making the setting adjustment easier and a direct indication of the position of the mainshaft, allowing the operator to maintain the crusher setting and monitor liner wear.
C. External gear and pinion adjustment simplifies and speeds up the backlash adjustment.
D. Hydraulic lifting platforms are optional. They can help to improve the efficiency of service, maintenance and other operations.

The above capacities are based on the assumption that 100% of the feed passes 80% of the feed opening, 80% of the feed passes 60% of the feed topsize, and 50% of the feed passes a sieve size that is 10% of the topsize. The capacities are for feed materials with a bulk density of 1.75 metric tons per cubic meter.
All capacities are calculated at maximum throw for each respective machine and are relative to individual application. Material characteristics, feed size distribution, work index, percent moisture, and feed method are factors when considering total crusher capacity.
