In high summer temperatures, heat dissipation is the top priority in equipment maintenance. Proper cooling ensures that equipment operates within the optimal temperature range for consistent, stable performance.

1. Ensure Ventilation & Heat Dissipation

Outdoor units: Provide sunshades as needed to avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure;

Indoor units: Promptly clear debris and material buildup around the equipment to ensure unobstructed airflow, maintain a cool environment, and prevent heat accumulation in enclosed spaces.

2. Regularly Clean Heat-Dissipating Components

❂ Routinely remove dust, ore residue, and oil from motors, radiators, coolers, and other thermal components to keep cooling channels clear and prevent temperature spikes caused by blockages;

❂ Never spray cold water directly onto equipment that is still hot during maintenance—sudden temperature changes can crack housings, bearings, and pipes, compromising structural integrity.

3. Monitor Motor Temperature Regularly

❂ Check operating temperatures during operation; under normal conditions, keep the unit temperature ≤ 75°C for stable performance;

❂ In extreme heat, install auxiliary cooling fans and regularly remove junction box dust to mitigate risks of short circuits and electrical fires.

4. Control Ambient Temperature & Humidity

❂ Keep temperature control systems in equipment rooms/workshops running properly, maintaining indoor temperatures at 22–30°C;

❂ In high-humidity areas, install dehumidifiers to prevent metal corrosion and circuit board condensation.

5. Schedule Off-Peak Operation in Extreme Heat

❂ During extreme heat, optimize operation schedules to avoid prolonged full-load continuous running. Allow equipment adequate downtime to reduce component fatigue and sustain long-term performance.

# 02 Lubrication Maintenance · Long-term Protection for Core Components

IMG_261

Extreme high temperatures alter the physical properties of lubricants. Targeted summer lubrication maintenance effectively reduces operational wear, safeguards key precision components including bearings, transmission assemblies, and vibrators, and sustains excellent equipment performance.

1. Use High-temperature Resistant Lubricants

❂ High heat tends to thin out lubricating oil, causing leakage and viscosity reduction. Select high-temperature resistant lithium-based grease and anti-wear hydraulic oil to adapt to summer operating conditions, ensuring stable performance of lubrication and hydraulic systems.

2. Adjust Lubrication Intervals Properly

❂ Shorten the lubrication cycle for key components such as bearings in summer. Refill lubricants regularly to ensure even and sufficient lubrication for full protection of key components.

3. Regular Oil Replacement and Dirt Removal

❂ Periodically remove oil sludge, impurities, and scale inside the lubrication system to keep oil clean and oil passages unobstructed, enabling smooth and steady operation of transmission and hydraulic systems.

4. Hydraulic & Cooling System Maintenance

❂ Check hydraulic oil viscosity on a regular basis. Once oil temperature exceeds the preset limit, check the working condition of cooling fans, and consider adding water cooling systems to enhance heat dissipation if needed.

# 03 Fastening Maintenance · Stabilize Structure and Prevent Aging

IMG_264

Sharp temperature fluctuations in summer, coupled with long-term high-frequency vibration, make regular structural fastening and transmission component maintenance essential. It keeps the equipment structure stable and running smoothly, maximizing its inherent stability and reliability.

1. Fully Fasten Structural Bolts

❂ Recheck and retighten bolts on key positions including equipment frames, chutes, vibrators, motor anchor bases, and shock-absorbing spring seats on a regular basis. Prevent looseness that could cause abnormal noise, displacement, or parts falling off, ensuring a solid overall structure.

2. Special Maintenance for Screening Equipment

❂ Check the integrity and tension of screen meshes, and promptly remove blocked materials and adhered ore fines from screen surfaces to avoid reduced efficiency;

❂ Maintain and replace screen accessories as required to guarantee screening accuracy and working efficiency.

3. Maintenance of Transmission and Shock-absorbing Parts

❂ Regularly check the operating condition of transmission belts, chains and gears, adjust belt tension, and replace aging parts in a timely manner to ensure steady power output from the transmission system;

❂ Periodically inspect shock-absorbing springs and rubber damping pads to maintain excellent damping performance and avoid unbalanced vibration and excessive noise.

# 04 Electrical Protection ·Build a Strong Line of Defense

IMG_266

Summer brings high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and high humidity. Meticulous maintenance of the electrical system effectively protects electrical components, ensures circuit safety and stability, and supports smooth production line operation.

1. Clean Electrical Components Regularly

❂ Remove dust from electrical parts such as motors, control cabinets, junction boxes, and contactors weekly to keep components clean, heat dissipation efficient and electrical contacts stable.

2. Circuit and Insulation Inspection

❂ Routinely check the integrity of equipment cables and wiring, and verify terminal connections for tightness and freedom from oxidation;

❂ Periodically test the insulation resistance of motor windings to ensure the electrical system can withstand humid, high-temperature conditions and operate safely;

❂ Check that safety devices including thermal relays, overload protectors, and emergency stop buttons are sensitive and reliable. Cut off power to faulty circuits promptly in high heat to protect equipment and personnel.

3. Special Lightning Protection and Grounding Maintenance

In thunderstorm season, check that grounding resistance meets standards and lightning rods and ground rods are free from rust or fractures;

❂ Install Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) in distribution boxes and replace damaged ones immediately; inspect and repair seals on outdoor electrical cabinets for waterproofing.

4. Post-rain Special Maintenance

❂ After rainfall, promptly remove standing water from equipment surfaces, apply rust protection to steel structures and welds, and repair paintwork to slow aging and extend service life.

5. Switch and Inverter Maintenance

❂ Clean oxidation from circuit breaker and contactor contacts; replace burned contacts;

❂ Purge inverter ventilation ducts to prevent module overheating alarms;

❂ Never leave doors open for extended periods during operation to prevent moisture and dust ingress.
