Allis Saga Supports Fortune Global 500 Company—Holcim Group's South Africa Project Commences Operation

Recently, an MH300 single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher supplied by Allis Saga has commenced operation at the granite project site of Lafarge Mining South Africa (Pty) Limited. This equipment replaces the previously installed short-head cone crusher from a well-known international brand.

Despite pandemic-related challenges, Allis Saga's local partner in South Africa worked closely with the client to plan ahead and prepare thoroughly, ensuring smooth project progress and minimizing disruption to the client's operations.

Meanwhile, Allis Saga's China team maintained close communication with the local South African team, provided timely remote technical support, and conducted real-time interactions with on-site installation engineers. Ultimately, the project was successfully commissioned as scheduled.

Allis Saga's cooperation with LafargeHolcim Group (renamed Holcim Group in July 2021) began in 2017, with both parties engaging in multi-faceted communications and professional technical exchanges across various fields.

In September 2019, LafargeHolcim Group dispatched a delegation of 12 senior global procurement and technical executives to visit Allis Saga. The delegation conducted a comprehensive inspection of Allis Saga's product manufacturing processes and workflows, which deepened their understanding and recognition of the company and its products. Following this visit, the two parties initiated cooperation on a series of projects.

  • Between 2019 and 2020, LafargeHolcim Australia successively purchased 3 single-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers from Allis Saga through Terex Corporation.
  • In early 2021, LafargeHolcim Australia placed another order for 3 units of equipment (1 MJC1412 jaw crusher, 2 cone crushers: MH400 and MS400).
  • For the cement plant project in Ecuador, LafargeHolcim purchased two pieces of equipment (1 FD2455 bar screen feeder and 1 MJ1511 jaw crusher) from Allis Saga through the project's general contractor, and the project was successfully commissioned in early 2021.
  • For projects in the United States, Canada, and other regions, LafargeHolcim successively ordered multiple single-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers from Allis Saga through Terex Corporation.
  • The MH300 cone crusher ordered by LafargeHolcim South Africa arrived at the site in April 2021. To minimize the production line downtime, Allis Saga's local partner collaborated closely with the client on-site, making thorough preparations in aspects such as the design and fabrication of modified installation foundations, and the integration of the electrical control system with the existing production system. This ensured the successful installation and commissioning on the first attempt.
