High Frequency Dewater Screens
Category:
Screens
Detailed description

High Frequency Dewatering Screens are the latest addition to Allis Saga's complete line of vibrating screens for the mining and mineral processing industries. The screens operate at high frequency and are designed for dewatering and desliming operations, such as dewatering sand, coal, and metallic ore slurries. The feed end section is designated at a sharp incline for removal of high percentage of water during the initial stages of screening. The remaining sections are mounted at a slight reverse incline to retain material and compact the bed into a filter cake. The vibration of the screen causes the compacted material cake to move forward and filters the remaining moisture for discharge through the screen surface opening.
HFS Performance Characteristics
● It is designed and manufactured according to European standards.
● Twin electro-mechanical vibrators are mounted to provide a straight – line motion at 45 degrees to horizontal. This sharp action provides both vertical lifting and horizontal conveying action for optimum dewatering.
● Screen body bolted with Huck bolts to ensure overall strength.
● High operating speed increases dewatering capability 1200 - 1800 rpm with up to 1/4" throw.
● Simple stroke adjustment by repositioning weight segments.
