The Ministry of Natural Resources promotes advanced and applicable technologies for conservation and comprehensive utilization of mineral resources by releasing the Catalogue of Advanced and Applicable Technologies and following the process of "government release - platform promotion - enterprise application". This initiative aims to raise the national level of mineral resources utilization and promote the high-quality development of mineral resources development and utilization, earning broad recognition across the mining industry.

 

Launching a new round of selection of advanced and applicable technologies and updating the Catalogue to advance the mineral resources development and protection has been defined as one of the key tasks of the Ministry in 2022.

 

In response to the current accelerated iteration of technologies, processes and equipment, the 2022 update to the Catalogue of Advanced and Applicable Technologies focuses on the exploration, mining and beneficiation of mineral resources. It includes new technologies, processes and equipment that align with the national industrial development direction, meet the requirements of efficient, green, low-carbon and intelligent exploration and development, improve the efficiency of conservation and comprehensive utilization of mineral resources, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, enhance mine management efficiency, facilitate the rational use of resources, and effectively drive the high-quality development of the mining industry into the Catalogue.
